Schlegel Aquamac 120 and the Aquatex Seal provides an effective weather seal for doors and windows. The seal is particularly suitable for facades, tilt and turn openings in timber windows.
Schlegel Aquamac 120 is a kerf slotted seal, suitable for sealing gaps of 3.5-5.8mm.
The AQ120 is made of a unique combination of materials and provides the highest standard of sealing, even under extreme conditions. The polyurethane foam seal has excellent weather sealing properties, offering superior recovery performance and high durability backed with a lifetime guarantee. The polyethylene film provides weather and UV resistance, whilst the polypropylene insert prevents elongation and shrinkage.
Additionally, the AQ120 is resistant to paint and stains, unaffected by rot, mould or mildew and can withstand temperature of +70C to -30C. The embossed exterior is resistant to contamination and the Aquamac 120 is also compatible with cleaning agents.
This cost-effective foam Schlegel window seal has been extensively tested by independently certified test facilities, clearly demonstrating its outstanding weather and acoustic performance. It also retains its normal operational performance even after 10,000 window and/or door opening and closing cycles.
The AQ120 is available only in brown colour and is supplied per metre.
