Lorient glazing strip is a sodium silicate intumescent liner which provides 30 minutes fire resistance for glazing systems.
The Lorient intumescent liner can be used in conjunction with various Lorient fire resistant glazing products to prevent erosion from under the system. It must be used with System 36 glazing channel for flaxboard substrates below 500kg/m2 and with all System 90 installations.
Approved by Certifire CF185, the Lorient glazing liner has been fire tested to BS 476-22: 1987.
It is supplied in 44x2mm or 54x2mm in 1050mm length. The glazing liner is provided with a self-adhesive tape for quick and easy installation.
