The Thermoguard Thermoproof is a weather resistant, durable, clear fire and flame resistant fluid for external wood. Intended for use on timber sleepers, fencing, cladding and decking.
This fire resistant fluid has a non-flammable formula that penetrates deep into porous wood. When exposed to fire, Thermoguard Thermoproof paint for wood creates an innert layer within the wood’s surface, which insulates the wood and protects it from burning.
Fire tested to UKAS Standards BS EN Class B s2 dO and Class O.
This fire protection paint for wood can be applied with a brush, roller or as a spray. Easy to use, this fire resistant fluid can be safely applied by untrained and inexperienced users. Apply 3 coats with a minimum of 2 hours drying time between applications.
