Sealmaster FireGlaze 2000 (DRY) intumescent glazing strip offers an intumescent solution for both glazed openings in fire doors and glazed fire screens.
This ammonium phosphate/ceramic based intumescent strip has been developed to provide a dry glazing system option, instead of the FireGlaze Compound wet solution. FireGlaze 2000 is particularly suitable for 60 minute fire resistance glazed timber fire door and screen applications, when used in combination with FireGlaze GL60 liner. It’s fire resistance performance is enhanced by installing it in combination with a thin layer of FireGlaze Compound.
The FireGlaze 2000 has been independently fire tested and achieved a Third Party certification evidence for a wide range of fire resisting glasses, timbers and opening sizes including, uniquely, 60 minute fire resistance performance in softwood glazed screens when used in combination with FireGlaze GL60 liner.
Available at 5mm thick and in 2100mm lengths, FireGlaze 2000 is 25mm width as standard. Self adhesive can also be supplied as standard for rapid and easy installation, with no additional tools required.
