Mann Mcgowan Pyrostrip 100P is a high performance fire seal made of Palusol, which consists of hydrated sodium silicate intumescent closed and is enclosed in a PVC-u holder. This Palusol intumescent strip is primarily intended for installation in fire doors, panelled doors, frame-to-wall gaps and glazed construction.
When exposed to fire, the Palusol material creates a non-combustible foam which offers a high level of thermal insulation. In contact with heat, the material expands to at least five times its initial thickness and stops the passage of fire. Suitable for both 30 and 60 minute fire resistant doors. The Pyrostrip 100P fire strip is surface mounted with self adhesive tape provided.
The Mann Mcgowan Pyrostrip 100P palusol intumescent strip has been fire tested by many international tests & Certifire.
