Mann McGowan ACS-1 is a cold smoke and acoustic perimeter seal. The seal is co-extruded with robust rigid PVC mounting elements and has been designed with durable resilient fins and 3 separate air pockets to provide an effective acoustic barrier to the door.
The seal can be surface fixed to the corner of the door frame and doorstop with the fitted self-adhesive. The application is very easy and doesn’t require using additional tools, simply remove the backing paper from the perimeter seal and stick it to the door applying pressure to secure it. Durability tested to 100,000 opening and closing cycles.
Successfully tested for cold smoke and acoustic performance. Acoustic tests have been conducted in accordance with BS-EN 10140-1 and BS-EN 10140-2 and achieved a maximum of 35dB for standard FD30 and FD60 single and double doors. Smoke tested to BS476 pt 31;1 for cold smoke sealing (air leakage).
This acoustic perimeter door seal is available in a range of colours and sizes to suit the application. The ACS-1 is supplied in white, brown and black, in standard 2100mm length.
