The Instastop Rounded Door Edge Protector is a fire rated, robust aluminium profile which protects vulnerable door edges. Intented for meeting stiles on double doors and the back edges of double swing pivot doors.
This fire rated door edge guard is fitted with an intumescent fire strip for effective fire protection. The door edge protector maintains fire integrity of the door allowing safe evacuation. It also reduces maintenance costs and removes the need to replace an expensive fire door by retaining it’s fire integrity. The fire strip can easily be replaced if required.
Intastop Rounded Door Edge Guard differentiates the door edge for DDA compliance and has been fire tested to BS 476: Part 20 & 22 for 30 & 60 minutes.
Available in a standard Satin Anodised Aluminium (SAA) finish. This aluminium door edge guard is also supplied with a brush intumescent strip which provides fire and smoke protection. Both a square door edge guard and PVC-u version are also available.
