Intastop PVC-u Door Edge Protector is ideal for maintaining fire integrity of the door, allowing for safe evacuation and can also be used on the front and back edges of fire resisting door sets. This product offers elegance, quality and excellent performace for double and single fire rated doors. Fitted with a brush intumescent strip, this door edge guard offers effective fire and smoke protection. The fire & smoke strip can easily be replaced if required.
The PVC-u door edge protector is made of a light weight, tough, flame retardant material. The material is easy to clean and resistant to staining, therefore ideal for installation in e.g. hospitals. Anti-bacterial properies ensure a safe and hygenic environment. It is also impact and scratch resistant, which reduces maintenance costs and removes the need to replace expensive fire doors.
This door edge guard has been fire tested to BS476: Part 20 & 22, for 30 & 60 minutes and achieved fire rating: Class ‘O’. Also, tested to EN13501-1:2010 and achieved B-s1-d0. The Intastop Door Edge Guard assists in meeting guidelines in BS8300:2001.
Available in either a white or black colour, other finishes can also be provided upon request. PVC-u Door Edge Guard can be also supplied with a plain intumescent strip for fire protection only.
