Instastop Flat Door Edge Protector is a fire and smoke rated, robust aluminium profile which protects vulnerable door edges. Designed for single doors or on double doors where there is need to cut around locks and hinges.
This smoke and fire rated door edge guard is fitted with a brush intumescent strip for an effective fire and smoke protection. The door edge protector maintains fire integrity of the door allowing safe evacuation. It also reduces maintenance costs and removes the need to replace an expensive fire door by retaining it’s fire integrity. The smoke and fire strip can be easily replaced if required.
Intastop Flat Door Edge Guard differentiates door edge for DDA compliance and has been fire tested to BS 476: Part 20 & 22 for 30 & 60 minutes.
Available in a standard Satin Anodised Aluminium (SAA) finish. This aluminium door edge guard is also supplied with a plain intumescent strip which provides fire protection only. A rounded Door Edge Guard and a PVC-u version are also available.
