Instastop Flat Door Edge Protector is a fire rated, robust aluminium profile which protects vulnerable door edges. Designed for single doors or on double doors where there is a need to cut around locks and hinges.
This fire rated door edge guard is fitted with an intumescent fire strip for an effective fire protection. The door edge protector maintains fire integrity of the door allowing safe evacuation. It also reduces maintenance costs and removes the need to replace expensive fire door by retaining thier fire integrity. The fire strip can be easily replaced if required.
Intastop Flat Door Edge Guard differentiates door edge for DDA compliance and has been fire tested to BS 476: Part 20 & 22 for 30 & 60 minutes.
Available in a standard Satin Anodised Aluminium (SAA) finish. This aluminium door edge guard is also supplied with a plain intumescent strip which provides fire and smoke protection. Rounded Door Edge Guard and PVC-u version are also available.
