The Envirograf Metal Firebox can combat this and provides fire and smoke resistance and effectively protects against arson. This internal intumescent metal fire box is suitable for use in areas vulnerable to arson or vandalism attacks.
This metal firebox is lined with intumescent material self extinguish flames and fire, so will not allow anything to burn. If petrol or other inflammable materials are placed into the box and then ignited, they are extinguished by the easily renowned intumescent material. The intumescent expands under heat, contains fire spread and stops the fire.
Fire tested to BS 476 Part 22 (1987). This product is safe to use as it does not contain liquids or gasses. Also available as an anti arson letterbox bag for situations where doors open tightly onto walls, allowing full door opening.
Available in four sizes and white colour only. This rigid anti arson letterbox is supplied with a hinged lid and flush lock as standard, but a hinged front door is available as an optional extra. The anti arson mailbox fits on the back of the door or wall. Spouts up to 300mm long can be fitted to pass through walls.
