Sealmaster Vortex Seal V180 is a heavy duty door brush seal with dense nylon filaments which effectively protects against draught, weather, light, dust, smoke and sound.
Sealmaster Vortex V180 brush door seal is supplied in an aluminium holder available with either a 10mm, 16mm or 25mm brush. The nylon brush conforms to the surface providing an effective seal with a low closing force. Nylon filaments are also flexible and can withstand temperature from -40 C with melting point above 200C.
This door brush seal has a very versatile application and is suitable for most doors and apertures including timber, hollow metal doors, sectional doors, sliding and automatic doors. The Vortex Seal is surface mounted to the door bottom with screws supplied to create a door bottom seal.
The Vortex seal has been acoustically tested to ASTM E90 and ASTM E1408 and smoke tested to UL 1784 and meets the requirements of NFPA 105-2013 for smoke leakage in an opening. Fire tested to UL10B standard fire tests and UL10C positive pressure fire tests of door assemblies. The seal is also BHMA certified, tested for ANSI/BHMA A156.22 – Door Gasketing and Edge Seal Systems.
