Sealmaster Typhoon SMS is a rebated door seal that can offer an effective weather, draught and acoustic sealing solution. This specialist door and window stop seal can be fitted to both timber and glass doors and is also suitable for internal/external single action doors and casement windows.
Sealmaster Typhoon is designed with an aluminium carrier and a straight 5mm neoprene rubber blade. The SMS is ideal for doors and should be rebated flush into the head, meeting and hanging stiles of hinged or pivot doors that swing through 180 degrees. It can alternatively be fitted to meeting stiles of pairs of doors where both leaves are free to open. On pairs of plate glass doors, the Typhoon SMS seals should be fitted opposite the Typhoon SPS seals or alternatively to create a full door system the SM should be used in conjunction with the SMS007.
The aluminium rebated door seal is available in a gold or silver satin anodised finish and can be routed to the door with the pins & screws provided, or alternatively it can be glued to create an effective architectural seal.
The SMS holder can be used with a range of the Typhoon straight and angled seal inserts to suit any particular application.
