The Sealmaster Thunder WGG is an external door weatherboard used to improve the performance of inward opening doors but can also be used as a very effective acoustic door seal.
The WGG door weatherboard is compatible with a threshold plate TLG and is an ideal for larger sections, where the combination creates an effective sealing system and is an ideal solution for weatherproofing external doors. For a smooth face application, the WGG weatherboard should be paired with the TMG low rise 3mm threshold plate instead.
This external door weatherboard is also suitable for acoustic sealing applications where the weather bar is reversed and rebated into the door with the screws supplied, so that only the flat aluminium kick plate is visible. The WGG should be bedded in silicone sealant and adjusted to make light contact with the threshold plate.
