The Sealmaster SmartSeal TAS is an external door threshold plate suitable for single and double, external doors. This high performance weather seal provides additional draught and light sealing. The threshold plate features Sealmaster’s patented valve-controlled drainage to maximise weather protection.
The TAS is ideal for carpet finishes incorporating a square edge to butt against internal floors. Applications include carpets, laminate flooring, floor tiles, quarry tiles and entrance matting to be butted up against the threshold plate. Available in a silver or gold finish the TAS has hidden fixings for a clean and aesthetic look and will fit flush with a surface mount to the door bottom, preventing tripping hazards and offering DDA compliance.
The Sealmaster SmartSeal TAS external door threshold plate can be used alone, however it requires a threshold seal or a weatherboard to create a full weatherproof system for the door bottom. It is compatible with SmartSeal threshold seals: CAS, WBC; and SmartSeal Weatherboards: WAS, WBR, WBH, WCH, WBW, WCW, WCR. The Sealmaster threshold seals and weatherboards are available in a range of finishes to suit both traditional and contemporary door designs.
The SmartSeal is a combination seal and can also be paired with all Sealmaster stop and meeting stile seals to provide an effective weather seal system for the door.
