The Sealmaster Hurricane SGS stop seal is a surface mounted door seal that provides a high performance draught, weather and acoustic sealing solution. Suitable for both internal and external single action doors and single action casement windows.
The Hurricane rebated door seal SGS is designed with an aluminium carrier and a wide range of inserts including a EPDM dual blade, EPDM compression or a nylon brush insert to suit a number of applications. Primarily designed for use with new purpose made windows and doors. The seal is ideal for fitting around casement windows with cranked hinges.
Sealmaster Hurricane seal is suitable for use in situations where smoke/gas/air leakage is important, as it has been tested and achieved leakage rates as low as 4m3 / hour / metre at 600pa pressure using a Hurricane seal all around a timber casement window. It can be also used for photographic dark rooms and for acoustic sealing, with a rating of Rw=10db reduction in sound transmission.
The Sealmaster Hurricane seal is available in a silver anodised finish and can be surface mounted to the door with the pins & screws provided or alternatively it can be glued.
