The Sealmaster Hurricane SFS stop seal is a rebated door seal that provides a high performance draught, weather and acoustic sealing solution. Suitable for both internal and external single action doors and single action casement windows.
Hurricane rebated door seal SFS is designed with an aluminium carrier and an angled neoprene rubber blade. Primarily designed for use with new purpose made windows and doors, the seal is ideal for fitting around casement windows with cranked hinges. However, there are a wide range of Hurricane door seals with straight, angled or compression bulb inserts to suit other applications.
Sealmaster Hurricane seal is suitable for use in situations where smoke/gas/air leakage is important, as it has been tested and achieved leakage rates as low as 4m3 / hour / metre at 600pa pressure using a Hurricane seal all around a timber casement window. It can be also used for photographic dark rooms and for acoustic sealing, with a rating of Rw=10db reduction in sound transmission.
The Sealmaster Hurricane seal is available in a silver anodised finish and can be surface mounted to the door with the pins & screws provided or alternatively it can be glued to create an effective architectural seal.
