Sealmaster Duxbak Seal is a perimeter door seal with elastomeric fins, which offers smoke, acoustic and draught sealing.
The specific shape of the Duxbak acoustic smoke seal with the fir-tree base, fits discretely to the meeting edge of the double door and bypasses ironmongery for continuous sealing. It also allows a low opening and closing resistance ensuring comfortable use of the door. Durability tested for up to 1 million opening and closing cycles.
The Duxbak Seal is suitable for use in both new and retro-fitting projects for door gaps from 3mm to 4mm. Its fir-tree base allows quick and easy installation.
Available in black only, Duxbak Perimeter Seal is supplied in 2150mm length. Maintenance free, this acoustic perimeter door seal is a perfect low-cost solution for maximising the acoustic performance of the door and sealing against draught and cold smoke. The Duxbak Seal has been smoke tested to BS EN 1634:1 with cold smoke leakage of less than 3m3/m/hr.
