Sealmaster Cyclone TDS is a door threshold plate suitable for single and double external doors. The TDS external threshold plate can be used alone as a weather seal, however it requires a threshold seal or a weatherboard to provide a high performance draught and weatherproof sealing system for both external and internal applications.
The Sealmaster TDS door threshold plate can be used in most external applications where a weatherproof seal is required, including rooms with an installed gas flood fire suppression system, studio and music room doors, where a high level of acoustic performance is required and photographic dark rooms where a light, tight seal is needed.
The TDS threshold plate is available in silver and gold finish and standard lengths of 1000mm, 2100mm and 3000mm. Surface mount fixed with screws, the TDS design with a flat edge allows internal floor surfaces such as laminate flooring, floor tiles, quarry tiles and entrance matting to be butted up against the threshold plate. The threshold plate does not obstruct the access and is DDA compliant with Part M of the Building Regulations.
To create a weatherproof system the Sealmaster Cyclone TDS can be used with the CCS, CBS, CDS and WEF threshold seals or the WFH, WFR, WFW, WEH, WER, WEW, WDS weatherboards. The TDS door threshold plate can be paired with all Sealmaster door stop and meeting stile seals, especially the Blizzard seal which provides the door with optimal acoustic performance.
