The Schlegel Sharkseal PS brush weather seal is a low friction seal, which makes it ideal for sliding applicatons. It is designed with an extruded nylon brush pile and two clear central fins which provides an enhanced weather sealing solution, as it gives a second line of defence. Suitable for windows and doors the Sharkseal PS ideally should be used for internal doors and as a window perimeter seal. It is also suitable for applications where fixing area is narrow on head and jambs of timber doors, perimeters of timber casement windows and vertical sliding sash timber windows.
The centrally placed fins in Sharkseal PS form a solid barrier against air, water and dust. The flexible pile fibres move independently creating an effective seal against uneven surfaces. Additionally, this draught and weather seal is mould, mildew and corrosion resistant. It also resists acids, alkalines and U.V. light. When silicone treated, the Schlegel weather seal can withstand water and icing.
Available in a white and brown colour and is supplied in 2100mm lengths. Schlegel Sharkseal PS is a rigid high impact PVCu carrier with a nylon brush and pre-punched pin holes at 150mm centres. This Schlegel weather seal is surface mounted with 25mm stainless steel fixing pins (supplied).
