Mann Mcgowan Pyrostrip 100PSS is a high performance Palusol intumescent strip offering fire and smoke protection. Suitable for both 30 and 60 minute fire resistant doors. It provides an excellent level of protection in a wide variety of door designs and specifications. This fire & smoke intumescent strip is primarily intended for installation in fire doors of flush, panelled and glazed construction.
Pyrostrip 100PSS palusol is designed with a hydrated sodium silicate intumescent strip in PVC-u holder with a brush pile insert which can seal gaps up to 10mm. It can easily be rebated into the groove and fitted with the self-adhesive tape supplied.
When exposed to fire, the intumescent material swells and closes the gaps between the door and frame, cuts the air supply and stops the passage of smoke and fire. Because of its chemical composition, the Palusol strip also has a very high melting point.
The fire strip has proven performance in numerous internationally recognised tests including SGS, GGF, IFSA, CERTIFIRE, FDIS, BWF, GAI.
The 100PSS fire & smoke intumescent strip is available in three standard sizes, in either a white or brown finish and a standard length of 2100mm.
