Lorient System 36 PLUS is a flexible intumescent glazing U channel designed for 30 minute fire resistance in doors and screens. When used with approved glass types, this intumescent gasket can offer up to 60 minute protection.
The Lorient intumescent glazing channel paired with standard glazing beads creates an effective glazing system. Flexible enough to be fitted to curved corners and circular vision panels, a range of sizes are available to suit glass from 4mm to 23mm in thickness. Each sized variant features a unique colour on the spine for easier identification and the glazing channel can be easily cut to length with scissors or a sharp knife for a bespoke fit.
Successfully fire tested to BS EN 1634-1: 2014 and BS 476-22: 1987. Lorient System 36 glazing U channel has also been approved under the Certifire CF5060 scheme.
