Lorient LAS4002 is a medium duty door threshold plate protecting against sound, smoke, weather, draught, light and insects, when used with a suitable threshold seal. The LAS4002 door floor plate can be used in combination with any drop or door bottom seal to create an effective sealing solution.
This gently curved low-profile aluminium threshold plate can increase the effectiveness of threshold seals by creating a firmer gasket contact. The plate creates an even surface underneath the door and is suitable to access for people with disability requirements. Part M?

The LAS4002 has been approved for use on proprietary AS1905.1 fire doors achieving 4 hours fire rating. Smoke tested in accordance with AS1530.7 on AS6905 compliant door assemblies. Acoustically tested as part of a system in accordance with ISO10140-2 and AS/NZS717.1.
The Lorient door threshold plate can be quickly and easily installed with the supplied screws or fixed with an adhesive. To operate properly, the plate requires a minimum of 6mm clearance between the door and the floor. For exterior applications, the threshold plate should be secured with a sealant to prevent water ingress. Full installation instruction is provided with the product.
