The Jewel Fire Group Water Additive Fire Extinguisher offers excellent fire suppression for Class A fires that contain freely burning materials, such as paper and wood. It possesses all the features of a water extinguisher with the advantage of being a compact and lightweight unit. The light weight design makes this Water Additive extinguisher compliant within Health and Safety lifting guidelines and is a cost-effective solution to tackle fire around the home or workplace.
The additives work by removing water’s natural surface tension and as a result this makes the water ‘wetter’ or ‘stickier’, which allows it to adhere and soak into the burning materials more effectively rather than the water running off.
The extinguisher is lined with polyethylene and is supplied with a protective plastic base offering corrosion resistance.
Successfully fire tested with a 21A rating for the 6ltr water fire extinguisher and 13A for 3litre water fire extinguisher, weighing only 5.6kg makes fire fighting within health and safety lifting guidelines a possibility. The JS Water Additive Fire extinguisher has been Kitermarked to BS EN 3, CE marked and has a 5 Year Manufacturer’s Guarantee.
Available in 2 sizes, as either a 3 litre water additive fire extinguisher or a 6 litre water additive fire extinguisher. Both feature a squeeze grip operation, are supplied fully charged and with mounting brackets for an easy mounting process.
