Sealmaster MasterSeal is a water-based, general-purpose intumescent sealant which provides a fire-resisting seal with erosion-resistant properties. Both intumescent and fire-resisting capabilities make Masterseal one of the best fire-resisting sealants on the market.
Suitable for use in a range of gap sealing applications, including masonry or plasterboard constructions and areas around door ironmongery where timber has been removed prior to fitting. This gun grade mastic is ideal for sealing linear gaps between neighbouring elements and it can also be used for gaps in ceilings and walls up to 25mm.
When exposed to heat, Masterseal intumescent sealant produces a low pressure, erosion-resistant low volume expansion.
This fire-resistant sealant is a non-toxic, specially formulated compound with semi-flexible finish, which can be overpainted. Easy to apply with a gun, Sealmaster Masterseal is very economical as only a small amount of material is needed to give considerable periods of fire resistance. Supplied in 300ml 10inch cartridges.
Sealmaster Masterseal has been fire tested and achieved a 60 minute rating.
