Lorient System 90 PLUS is an intumescent glazing U channel suitable for fire resistand doors and timber framed screens and partitions. Suitable for use with only 6mm Georgian wired glass, Pyran-S or 5mm Firelite.
The glazing channel comprises of a U shaped PVC-u profile with a sodium silicate intumescent core. It must be used with the Lorient Glazing Intumescent Liner around the perimeter of the aperture and beading to prevent erosion from under the system.
Lorient System 90 Plus has been designed to provide 60 minute fire protection. When used in conjunction with a suitable screen or door construction, this intumescent glazing channel can provide up to 120 minutes resistance. Approved under the Certifire CF185 scheme, the glazing gasket and has been extensively fire tested with a range of glass types and meet the requirements of BS 476-22:1987.
