Lorient FF1 is a Flexible Figure 1 intumescent glazing strip is designed for use with glazed apertures in 30 minute fire resistant doors or windows. Intended for glazed doors, screens and partitions.
The Lorient Flexible Figure 1 consists of an intumescent glazing strip with a pair of appropriate beads. This unique design enables tolerances between door, bead and glass thicknesses to be accommodated.
Suitable for use with a variety of 5mm – 7.2mm fire rated glass types. FF1 is a two-strip glazing system for doors only. This flexible glazing strip is quick and easy to install with a self-adhesive tape and must be fitted on both sides of the glass. Supplied 13.5mm high x 3.5mm wide, in either white or black and in 50 metre coils as standard.
Extensively tested with many different fire resisting glass types, the Lorient FF1 fire rated glazing strip has been approved under the Certifire CF327 scheme and has been fire tested to BS 476-22: 1987.
