The TKS is an external door threshold plate in the Sealmaster Watershed range. Suitable for single and double external doors, TKS can be used with a threshold seal or a weatherboard to create an effective weather, draught, and acoustic sealing solution.
The Sealmaster threshold plate is made of aluminium material and comes in a silver finish and is available in standard 1000mm, 2100mm and 3000mm lengths. Surface mounted with screws to the floor, the TKS threshold plate has hidden fixings for clean look. The channel ensures a high level of performance as it collects water that by-passed the rubber blade seals when used in conjunction with a threshold seal or weatherboard and allows it to drain to the outside of the building through pre-drilled weep holes.
Sealmaster Watershed TKS can be used alone, but to provide a weatherproof sealing system, it needs to be paired with a threshold seal or a weatherboard. When the weatherboard is used along with a threshold plate it will provide an effective sealing for inward opening doors, while a threshold seal can be used with outward opening doors.
The TKS threshold plate for external doors is compatible with CAS, WBC threshold seals and WAS, WBS, WBR, WBH, WCS, WCR, WCH weatherboards. Both weatherboards and thresholds seals are available in a range of finishes to suit period and contemporary door designs, composite doors, soft wood doors, red wood doors and oak doors.
The Sealmaster Watershed combination seals can be used with all Sealmaster stop and meeting stile seals in order for a a door to achieve an effective seal against draught and weather conditions.
