Thermoguard Professional Lacquer 2K Topcoat provides a hard and wear resistant coating for interior wood surfaces. Suitable for application by professionals using a brush, roller or as a spray.
To create an effective fire retardant system, the Thermoguard Lacquer Topcoat should be used over a Thermoguard Fire Varnish Basecoat. In the event of a fire, the system expands to create an insulating barrier and protect the wood from burning.
The fire resistant topcoat can be applied after a minimum of 36 hours of Fire Varnish Basecoat application. 1 coat of this Thermoguard Lacquer Topcoat is sufficient, however, colours, wood stain shades and high UV areas require 2 coats of the product.
This Profesional Lacquer Topcoat has been tested to standards BS Class 1 and Class 0 Surface Spread of Flame and BS EN Class B s2 d0.
