The Sealmaster Deluge SEM provides a high performance draught, weather and acoustic sealing solution. Suitable for both internal, external windows and the head and jambs of doors. The Sealmaster Deluge can come with either a blade or bulb insert, the bulb compression seal is ideal for heavy compression doorsets and is particularly useful where doors and window frames need to be replaced.
The SEM is designed with an aluminium carrier and either a standard straight blade shaped neoprene insert or a compression bulb shaped neoprene insert and can be rebated into the joinery making it unobtusive. When the rebated door seal is used in conjuction with a door threshold seal and meeting stile seal on double doors the product is suitable for applications where smoke/gas/air leakage is important, with leakage rates as low as 0.47m3 / hour / metre at 25pa pressure being achieved when tested. It is also suitable when noise penetraion is important, where up to Rw=10db reduction in sound transmission can be achieved.
The Sealmaster Deluge is available in a silver satin anodised finish can be rebated into the door and fixed with the pins & screws provided or alternatively it can be glued to create an effective architectural seal.
