Mann Mcgowan Pyrostrip 100PTF is a Palusol based acoustic, fire and smoke intumescent strip. This co-extruded strip provides an integrated solution to problems of fire spread, cold smoke leakage and acoustic insulation.
Offering greater acoustic sealing than the standard brush pile seal, this fire & smoke intumescent strip is ideal for installation in hospitals, clean rooms, computer rooms or food preparation areas. This Pyrostrip 100PTF not only offers a highly effective seal, but also allows doors to return to their closed position with minimum resistance.
The Pyrostrip 100PTF comprises of fin blades made from high-performance thermoplastic, fused to a rigid PVC holder in the manufacturing process, containing Palusol based intumescent material. Easy to wipe clean and keep bacteria free, the 100PTF smoke intumescent strip is perfect for use in hospitals, surgeries and clean areas.
The Mann Mcgowan Pyrostrip 100PTF acoustic, fire & smoke intumescent strip has been fire tested to BS 476: Part 22: 1987 and achieved a resistance from 30-60 minutes, depending on the size of the strip. It has also been smoke tested in accordance with BS 476: Part 31: 1987.
Quick and easy to fit into a rebate with a self-adhesive tape supplied. The 100PTF fire strip is available in either white or brown and in a standard length of 2100mm with a 5mm blade.
