This is achieved as the fire blanket forms an air tight seal, smothering the fire and cutting off the supply of oxygen. Ideal for use as a kitchen fire blanket for use on fires involving cooking oils, saucepans, frying pans, waste bins etc. This fire blanket is also suitable for extinguishing fire on a person’s clothing by wrapping the fire blanket around them.
Made from silicone-coated fibreglass with Kevlar anti-fray hem, this fire blanket is simple-to-use and yet extremely effective fire fighting equipment. The fire blanket features a moulded keyhole for added strength when hanging and a hinged lid for easy extraction.
