Instastop Rounded Door Edge Protector is a fire rated, robust aluminium profile which protects vulnerable door edges. Intended for meeting stiles on double doors and back edges of double swing pivot doors.
This fire rated door edge guard is fitted with a brush intumescent strip for effective fire and smoke protection. The door edge protector maintains fire integrity of the door allowing safe evacuation. It also reduces maintenance costs and removes the need to replace expensive fire doors by retaining their fire integrity. The fire & smoke strip can easily be replaced if required.
Intastop Rounded Door Edge Guard differentiates door edge for DDA compliance and has been fire tested to BS 476: Part 20 & 22 for 30 & 60 minutes.
Available in a standard Satin Anodised Aluminium (SAA) finish. This aluminium door edge guard is also supplied with a plain intumescent strip which provides fire protection only. Square Door Edge Guard and PVC-u version are also available.
