The Lorient Single Batwing Perimeter Seal is a medium duty acoustic and smoke perimeter seal.
Made of a co-extruded rigid back PVC with a unique elastomeric fin. The flexible, curved fin springs back to its original shape and minimises the opening and closing resistance of the door leaf material to provide ongoing performance and durability in service.
Available in two sizes – Lorient LAS1206 and LAS1007 and a variety of colours to blend with the door design. Suitable for the head and jambs of single and double leaf doors, the single batwing perimeter seal can be fitted with minimal disruption to the door assembly with the heavy duty self-adhesive tape provided.
Lorient Single Batwing Perimeter seal has been acoustically tested to BS EN ISO 10140-2: 2010 with rating of up to 41dB Rw. Durability tested to a minimum of 100,000 cycles. The LAS1206 and LAS1007 door perimeter seals have also been smoke tested to meet the requirements of BS 9999:2017, providing an effective smoke seal of up to 200 C.
