The Jewel Fire Group Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher is a highly versatile fire fighting equipment suitable for Class A, B and C fires. Identified by their blue lables, they offer an ideal solution for dealing with electrical hazards, flammable liquids, gases and vehicle fires. The dry powder extinguisher should be used in open spaces, as the powder could be inhaled and can leave residue.
The dry powder fire extinguisher has an abiltity to suppress fire very quickly, as the powder smothers the fire by creating a barrier between the fuel and the source of oxygen.
This dry powder fire extinguisher has a squeeze grip operation and is supplied fully charged with mounting brackets for easy mounting. It is also corrosion resistant and can withstand temperature from -30C to 60C. Successfully fire tested, this dry powder fire extinguisher has been Kitemarked to BS EN 3, CE marked and has a 5 Year Manufacturer’s Guarantee.
Available in a range of sizes, the dry powder fire extinguisher can provide fire rating from 8A 55B to 43A 233B, depending on the size chosen. This includes a 1kg dry powder fire extinguisher, 2kg dry powder fire extinguisher, 4kg dry powder fire extinguisher, 6kg dry powder fire extinguisher and a 9k dry powder fire extinguisher. Models FPP4 4kg, FPP6 6kg and FPP9 9kg are supplied with a protective plastic base.
