Mann Mcgowan Pyroglaze Channel is a neoprene U-shaped gasket developed to provide a simple glazing gasket with 30 minutes of fire protection, easily fitted around the periphery of fire resisting glass. It can be used to glaze apertures in fire resisting doors, screens and partitions. The glazing channel is suitable for sealing glass from 5mm to 7mm thick.
This Pyroglaze glazing U channel has been fire tested/accessed to BS476 Part 22 1987, providing in excess 30 minute fire resistance when used in conjunction with the following glasses: Georgian Wired, Firelite, Pyran, Pyrobel, Pyrobelite, Pyroshield, Pyroguard, Pyrodur, Pyrostop.
Available in black only, this intumescent glazing channel can easily be fitted to a clean surface, around the edges of the glass. It can also be cut with a sharp knife or scissors to a specific size to suit a bespoke application.
