Exitex Slidex weatherstripping is a flexible, low friction perimeter seal that provides draught and weather sealing. Suitable for timber double hung sash windows, the Exitex Slidex Seal can also offer an alternative sealing solution to Schlegel brush pile carriers.
This effective slide or compression sash window seal is resistant to rot, mildew, corrosion and tough friction. Exitex Slidex draught seal doesn’t crack or shrink and can operate in extreme temperatures from -34C to +54C.
This sash window draught excluder ensures smooth operation as it has low friction forces and it also conforms to surface irregularities providing an effective seal. The Slidex compression seal is very durable, maintaining original shape after repeated window operations. It can outlast and outperform conventional metal and vinyl weatherseals in wipe and compression sealing applications.
Exitex Slidex sash window draught proofing seal is easy to install. It can be simply pushed into a pre-prepared kerf and fits 2mm wide x 6mm deep grooves and can seal gaps up to 5mm.
