Schlegel Brush Pile Carrier 2 is a sash window seal that can be used as an effective weather and draught seal for doors and window applications and is specifically designed for sliding applications. However, this brush draught seal can be particularly useful for applications such as patio doors and sliding sash windows. Schlegel brush pile carrier 2 can also be used as an alternative to the Polyflex PF109 Slidex in verticals of box sash windows and is ideal for the top and bottom of the meeting rail.
The sash window seal is a low friction seal offering improved sliding performance. The brush pile fibres move independently and is flexible, sealing perfectly against moving elements and uneven surfaces. The central fin provides additional draught proofing.
Manufactured with a PVC-u carrier with a nylon brush pile and a central polypropylene fin the seal has a central fir tree base for quick fit rebating. This sash window draught excluder has a 7mm x 3mm carrier with a central fir tree leg 4mm x 2mm.
This window brush seal is available in a white or black colour with various nylon brush pile height options: 5mm, 6.5mm and 8.5mm or alternatively with a 6.55mm nylon brush pile that includes a central polypropylene fin.
