Sealmaster Tempest is a surface mounted door seal that can offer an effective acoustic, weather and draught protection. Suitable for both internal and external single action doors and casement windows.
Sealmaster Tempest SKS is an astragal seal designed with an aluminium carrier and an angled neoprene rubber blade, which is ideal for doors that only swing one direction of 90 degrees. Alternatively, a compression bulb insert is available which is ideal for heavy compression doorsets and is particularly useful where doors and window frames need to be replaced. The Tempest is specifically designed for use as a rebated door meeting stile for pairs of doors. Primarily used as a French door seal or for other situations where the opening element and the frame are required to be flush. This meeting stile seal can be used in conjunction with other stop seals and threshold systems to provide an effective seal against smoke, gas and air leakage.
The SKS is available in a silver satin anodised finish in three standard lengths of 1000mm, 2100mm and 3000mm. It can be surface mounted to the door with the pins & screws provided or alternatively it can be glued. These screw fixings are then hidden by the cover section, which is available in a choice of ribbed or piped finishes to match the Sealmaster threshold sections.
